RE:  French Periodical Index -- additional information.

To add a different slant to Karen Chandler's response posted 1/29/97 to
SERIALST:  We subscribe to _French Periodical Index_ directly from the
publisher (the address we have is: Ponchie & Co., P.O. Box 4195, Star City,
WV  26504-4195, contact person is Jean-P. Ponchie).  We received the 1995
edition on 5/10/96, so we are expecting the 1996 edition anywhere between
mid-March and mid-May 1997.  According to our records, we have received each
edition the following spring or summer.  For example, the 1986 ed. was rec'd.
6/23/87, the 1987 ed. rec'd. 3/22/88, etc. all the way up to and including the
1994 ed. rec'd. 4/19/95 and the 1995 ed. rec'd., as stated above, 5/10/96.
We've never had to claim for this annual, it has been rec'd that regularly...
although not until the spring or summer following the edition year, which
still isn't all that unusual for an annual...
