The New England Technical Services Librarians presents
WHAT COUNTS: THE VALUE OF TECHNICAL SERVICES
Friday, April 4, 1997 at The College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA
The conference will explore a variety of ways in which Technical Services
provides value to patrons, library staff and the community at large. Janet
Swan Hill, Associate Director of Technical Services, University Libraries,
University of Colorado at Boulder, will speak in the morning. Breakout
sessions follow, given by staff from Bowdoin College, St. Mark's School
and Wentworth Institute of Technology. The afternoon will include a panel
composed of Carol Fleishauer, MIT; Gene Wiemers, Bates College; and
Leslie Wilson, Concord (MA) Public Library. Registration is $35 for
NELA/NETSL members, $45 for nonmembers and $25 for full-time library
school students. Registration forms will be mailed to NELA/NETSL members
