Hi!
It seems every year about this time, I receive a solicitation from the
American Biographical Institute, Inc (ABI) to submit my bio for their
publications *and* buy a plaque and copy of their published biographical
listing for the year. This year they also sent a letter asking me to become
one of their "Research Fellows" who submit names of "prominent men and
women" to include in their upcoming publications.
Their solicitation materials make me uncomfortable. Has anyone ever seen
their publications? (The cost of their compilation is more than I'd be
willing to pay for a personal copy.) Has anyone bought any of their
publications for their library? Are they useful? My inclination is to
ask to be removed from their mailing list.
What experiences have others had with them?
You may reply to me directly. Many thanks in advance.
