Subject: Electronic Resources Management/University of Hawaii

Aloha,

I am interested in how other libraries are managing electronic
resources (e.g., CD-ROM, online databases, ejournals) to which they
*subscribe*.

Specifically, how are others collecting and managing data related to
contracts/licensing restrictions, funds, technical requirements, etc.
for these resources?

For example, are you:
        relying on reports from your automated library system?
        creating an in-house database?
        keeping manual files?

The University of Hawaii Libraries are currently designing an in-house
database, in order to have greater control over electronic resources. I
would greatly appreciate any input or ideas you may have!
