On the last page of my July/August issue it lists that as 7/8.  What I

The July/Aug issue is #7/8. The number is noted on page 80, lower right-
hand corner, in small print.

Our libraries copy of the July/August 1996 issue has a masthead of
sorts on p.80. It states there that WW is published monthly except
for a combined July/August issue...volume 21, number 7/8.
