Just to add to the confusion:
You may want to consider adding the Web link (856) to the Peterson's
Education Center Web site at: http://www.petersons.com
This will let your patrons know that there is another version available
through the Web (and it's FREE!)

Mitch,
Since you're the only one to respond to my plea for help (and with
another question, too!) I'm going to follow-up on your curve-ball. I
checked the Web site you cited and it's very possible I missed it, but I
definitely didn't find access to the actual book I'm cataloging on line.
My understanding (& perhaps this is just a local slant) is that we would
only want to make a link to the actual work on line. Since the Web page is
largely promotional (walking tours & book orders, etc.) and doesn't contain
the title I'm cataloging, I hadn't considered adding that link. Is the 856
meant to be used to link to a related web site like this?
And finally, don't you ever have gaps between your serial records?
How DO you handle them? Pardon the whine, I'd hoped to have at least one
actual answer to the linking question.
