Gloria,

It appears that the substantial savings we realized several years ago
by switching from print to microform has been eroded away by continual
price increases. Our spot check of the most expensive titles show that
the gap between the more expensive print price and the microform price
is quickly closing. Prices for and increases for the more "popular"
less scholarly titles seem average. It is the research journals that
are escalating. Is this the supplier or the publishers? Further
analysis and comment would be welcome.
