Subject: numbering error

Hello -- A periodical we receive here has recently had a misnumbered
issue, and a friend who's a serials cataloger advised me to post a note
here.  The publication is the GNSI Newsletter [Guild of Natural Science
Illustrators], and on the banner the 1996 summer issue is numbered #5
just as the 1996 May issue was, instead of the summer issue being #6.
[Inside the issue it's correctly noted as #6, it's just on the cover
banner that the number is wrong.]  I notified the editor, who's going to
run a correction notice in the September issue and will number that
issue #7.  I also advised him to notify any vendors who distribute his
