Subject: changes in author/compiler

I think I have simply thought myself into a circle, but I need someone's
point of view.  Fielding's Caribbean has changed authors.  I noticed the
OCLC/DLC record is still open. However there is a record for 1994 that has
Caribbean as the 245, and another title flipped back for Fielding's Caribbean
with the new author Joyce Wiswell.  We put all the Fielding titles under title
entry.  So do I stay with the OCLC/DLC record and edit it to reflect the
change in author in a note, or do I close it?
