Currently for the new title "New Statesman" we show the following
information:
1996: June 7 is called v.9 no.406
1996: June 14 (New Statesman) is called v.125 no.4288
1996: June 21   "      "      is called v.125 no.4289
All issues are checked in as v. no. mo.day,yr. We are currently following
the DATN information in the 362 of the serial record. This helps us
established a consistent labeling authority for each issue received.

We are checking this in as New Statesman, and are using the volume and
issue numbering for that title.  We mark out New Statesman & Society and
its corresponding volume/issue number.  Since OCLC has already accepted
this as a title change, we will continue with the change as well.
