SERIALST Administrivia: Moderators at NASIG next week
Birdie MacLennan 13 Jun 1996 18:20 UTC
Hello.
Since all of NASIG's three moderators will be in Albuquerque,
New Mexico next week (June 18-23) attending the 11th annual
conference of the North American Serials Interest Group (NASIG),
I am advising SERIALST subscribers that there may be some
slow-downs and irregularities in SERIALST mail distribution
next week. In fact, I'm not 100% sure we'll be able to post
mail every day. So if some of you are wondering about the
"quiet" of the list, this is why.
I have been advised that the conference site will offer 24
email access and can say that I will try to check the SERIALST
editors' account as time and energy allow, but am making no
guarantees, since the conference activities will be keeping
all of the moderators (and hopefully several SERIALST
subscribers) busy with other things.
The effected dates will be: Tuesday, June 18 thru Friday, June 21.
We will resume normal processing and posting of SERIALST mail on
Monday, June 24.
Thanks for your patience and understanding. Looking forward to
seeing many of you in Albuquerque!
ciao,
Birdie MacLennan
