We received notification on 1/17/96 from Ebsco, our vendor, that Processing
of advanced materials will be merging with Journal of materials processing
technology in 1996.  The last issue of Processing of advanced materials we
received is also vol. 4 no. 4 Dec. 1994.  We subscribe to Journal of
materials processing technology and have received one issue for 1996; vol.
57 nos. 1-2 Feb. 1, 1996.  There is no notation in this issue that it has
absorbed or been merged with Processing of advanced materials.  I also
checked OCLC and found no indication of the title merge on record 26628672
for Processing of advanced materials.

So, it appears that Processing of advanced materials will potentially be
merging with Journal of materials processing technology, but it has not
happened yet.  Perhaps someone else has more recent information?
