Subject: Faxon pricing

Fellow Serialists:

Since Faxon changed to their new system, I have received
several invoices that had inflated prices for titles.  I
also was billed a second time for titles that I had already
payed.  In addition, our reconciliation had incorrect prices
so that we did not end up with as much credit as we should have.

The inflated prices were on:

        TITLE                            BILLED       ACTUAL

        Value Line                       1050.00      525.00

        Journal of Interlibrary Loan...   250.00       90.00

        Journal of Cell Biology          1005.00      525.00

        Public Relations Tactics          250.00       40.00

Since others may have received a reconciliation this spring, you may want to
check the Increase/Decrease amount and see if it is
really large.  That is how I found my problems.

Faxon has fixed the titles I have called in, but that doesn't
mean there aren't other potential problems.  Question any large
price changes, PLEASE.
