ARL Announces:

1994-95 ARL Statistics

Research Libraries are paying twice as much and are buying 8% fewer
serial subscriptions in 1995 compared to 1986.  Date on the latest prices
for serials and monographs are available on the newly release ARL Statistics.

        The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) is a not-for-profit
organization of 119 research libraries in the U.S.  and Canada.  Its
mission is to shape and influence forces affecting the future of
research libraries in the process of scholarly communication.  The ARL
Statistics and Measurement works to describe and measure the performance
of research libraries and their contribution to research, teaching,
scholarship, and community service.Additional information on this and
