We get a paper copy of the sulop [Serials Union List Offline Product], and
make 10 double-sided photocopies of it, then have them bound. Right now
we do this twice a year, plus load the periodicals portion of the union
list tape onto our web site

http://www.wpi.edu/Academics/IMS/Library/percat.html

as our periodical holdings do not show up properly in our current library
system. I try to keep the web version up to date.

The copies are distributed around the library (spines imprinted with their
intended location, such as: "This volume to remain on first floor" or:
"Reference Desk.")

2 copies to the Reference Desk, 1 to ILL, 1 to each of 3 other floors, 2
to the PAC area (8 terminals, 2 pcs), 1 stays in Tech Services, and 1 goes
into the current periodicals area. I keep the original printout.

So far this has worked pretty well. We have been doing this for about 5
years now.
