                Classification Plus can now be ordered
   from the Library of Congress, Cataloging Distribution Service

Classification Plus is a full-text, Windows based CD-ROM product which
contains the Library of Congress Classification Schedules and Library of
Congress Subject Headings (LCSH).   The first issue includes classification
schedules E-F, H, J, L, R, T, and Z as well as the complete LCSH through
September 1995.  Classification Plus is updated quarterly. Additional
schedules will be included as they become availiable throughout the 1996
subscription year at no additional cost.

Classification Plus uses the same Folio software found on Cataloger's
Desktop. Users will be able to follow hypertext links between files, view
headings in an expandable hierarchical display, and construct complex query
searches.  Cataloger's Desktop customers will be able to access both
products through a single Folio search engine, allowing for seamless
movement between the two products.

Classification Plus is LAN friendly and can be copied to a server allowing
for easy desktop access by catalogers and reference staff. Because it is
a Windows product, users can have a local online catalog open as well as
other files while using Classification Plus.
