 ILL/SERIALS LIBRARIAN. The University of Southern Mississippi Libraries
 seek an energetic librarian to supervise the ILL/Serials unit and to work
 at the reference desk(including some night and weekend hours) at its branch
 campus library which serves about 1600 students and 40 faculty. Main duties
 include manage the ILL/Serials unit; assist with the development and
 improvement of the library's electronic environment, particularly document
 delivery; serve the information needs of the campus community as a member
 of the reference team; assist with collection development; and report to
 the Director.

 REQUIRED: ALA-accredited MLS, professional experience in an academic
 library, excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills,
 knowledge of print and electronic resources and services, skill in
 microcomputer applications, familiarity with OCLC and its ILL subsystem;
 some experience with Serials collection(includes microforms); flexibility
 and the ability to accept change and manage change; and supervisory
 experience. Librarians at the University of Southern Mississippi hold
 tenure-track, 12-month positions and have faculty status. Employment is
 contingent on the ability to work in the United States.

 SALARY: approximately $26,000 based on experience.
