I thank every one for their suggestions for dealing with Mlinx claiming
problems. The ideas were informative and some very creative. Just so you
know, in the past I have tried all manner of alteration of status and status
dates, to no avail. I have also recently tried removing all traces of
prediction information, inculding th "v.,no."'s, but I haven't be able to
run another extract yet, so I don't know if this helped or not. However,
I would like to thank in particular Marcia Alexander of Centenary College
in Louisiana. She pointed out that when trying to prevent claims, the
status field on the subscription invoice screen must be changed to reflect
the changed publisher and library statuses. I believe that this is the
piece of information I have been missing. I haven't tried this yet
though, so I'll let you all know if it doesn't work. Thanks again!
