At NSDP, we have cataloged several publications which are delivered
by fax. We have treated them the same as print publications with a note
about their being transmitted by fax. We would not consider a change
from a print publication delivered by U.S. mail to a print publication
delivered by fax to require a new record. Only the delivery method has
changed. A faxed publication is not a reproduction since there is no
original publication which is being reproduced. You only have one
publication. I think we have enough new formats to deal with already
without considering fax to be yet another one!
