We were given the exact opposite information from the American Chemical
Society. Accreditation would not be affected by cancellation of the print
version of Chem Abstracts, as long as access was provided to the online
database. I suggest you re-contact the ACS-- attitudes have definitely
changed regarding the need for the paper version.
We cancelled our print subscription, and have received virtually no
complaints.
