As material budgets are re-focused to access, libraries need
to face the question of how to communicate, to our faculty, the
need for periodical/serial cancellations (print copies)in favor
of increased document delivery and ILL usage. How have libraries
approached this issue? Also, have any libraries begun a move toward
unmediated doc delivery? If so, is use restricted to any particular
patron group? Any information on costs associated with unmediated
document delivery would be useful. Thanks.
