Dear Serialst members,
Have any you any experience of cooperative or shared technical
service operations between a number of local or regional library
systems?
The sort of information I am interested in is:
What sort of operations are involved?
What are the perceived benefits?
What are the problem areas or drawbacks?
How are financial considerations resolved between institutions?
Are all aspects of a cooperative or shared operation fully costed?
Please provide any other information you may think is relevant or any
other examples of such systems known to you.
