SERIALS LIBRARIAN

Minot State University has an opening for a Serials Librarian.  Primary
responsibilities include supervising the activities in the Serials Unit of
Gordon B. Olson Library.  This unit oversees both periodical and serial
titles, assuring these materials are ordered, processed and subscriptions
maintained in an appropriate and timely manner.   The librarian provides
supervision for the unit's personnel; regularly evaluates the periodicals
collection for additions and deletions; coordinates activities that
involves management of the library's periodical and serial collection and
the library's automated serials subsystem.  Additional duties include
regularly scheduled hours at the library's reference desk and collection
development responsibilities.

Qualifications:  Master's degree in library science from an ALA approved
program and three years professional library experience, preferably in
serials.

Salary: $25,872.00
