             NATIONAL LIBRARY OF MEDICINE - TEMPORARILY CLOSED

  The National Library of Medicine, Bethesda, Maryland is temporarily closed
  as a result of the Federal government shutdown.  Online services are
  operational but no staff are available to take calls or answer questions.
  Emergency fax requests for clinical emergencies will be processed and the
  MEDLARS Management Help Desk has minimal staffing for emergency questions.
