Subject: Gordon & Breach policy

Dear friends of SERIALST,

     The spokesman of Gordon & Breach gives us a long
explanation of their publishing policy but he did not
explain why the price of a G. & B. publication has
always a price per page FOUR to TEN times higher than
its competitors even 'Big Brother' Elsevier.

     G. & B. publications although they are so expensive
have very poor SCI impact factors and are often a shelter
for authors who have not found their way to more selective
journals.
