    You appear to have a local organization donating magazine
    subscriptions to your library through EBSCO.  This is one of
    EBSCO's regular programs.  They usually contact local businesses
    and offer to let them subscribe to popular magazines to go into a
    library.  The library agrees to display the magazines in plastic
    covers with advertising from the business.  Our library receives
    several magazines courtesy of a pizza restaurant.

We've been getting odd titles, too--MTB ("the Ultimate Mountaim Bike
magazine", SKIN DIVER, PETERSEN'S GOLFING, SKI, HOT ROD--hardly our usual
academic fare.

Not surprised to hear EBSCO's finger is in it. :-/

We're neither cataloging nor shelving them.
