Steve, We have found that all or virtually all of the NeoData magazines
(the ones with the Boulder return address) have 800 telephone numbers
listed in the front matter of each issue. We have had very good luck
calling these numbers and speaking with a real human being in Boulder.

Some of the publishers using NeoData have them keep a small supply of
back issues, so some claims are actually "fulfilled" from the fulfillment
center, as opposed to the olden days when all they had was mailing labels.

BTW, I visited NeoData a couple of years ago and was very impressed with
how well they handle the millions of pieces of mail they must deal with.
I also saw the people answering phone calls and how seriously they take
their jobs. Came away with, surprisinly to me, a respect for the NeoData
people. I believe we can thank the US subscription agents for a lot of
the humanizing that has happened to the fulfillment centers.

But, back to the point: try the 800 phone number; I bet you'll have
better luck.
