PRECONFERENCE - Thursday, November 2, 1995
"Library Support Staff: Managing in a Changing Environment"
Presented by the ALAO Support Staff Interest Group.
CONFERENCE - Friday, November 3, 1995
"Thriving in a Dynamic Environment: Moving beyond Survival"
The conference focuses on the positive aspects of change, highlighting
the innovative character of academic libraries.
GENERAL SESSION SPEAKERS
Patricia Senn Breivik, Dean of Libraries at Wayne State
University and ACRL President, will discuss "Information Literacy:
Helping Learning to Thrive on Campus."
Raymond Neff, Vice President for Information Services at
Case Western Reserve University, will speak during lunch
on "Integration of the Academic Library with Campus Computing:
Internal and External Challenges to Benefit the End-User."
OTHER SESSIONS
We've scheduled a choice of 20 additional presentations with topics
ranging from A to X - acquisitions to Generation X. You will hear
many of your Ohio colleagues presenting as well as seven out-of-state
speakers.
