SERIALST User Survey on Fileserver Birdie MacLennan 20 Sep 1995 13:51 UTC

Thanks to all who have responded to the SERIALST Questionnaire and User
Survey that was posted on Sept. 13. So far, I have received @135
responses (@5% of the subscribership) and many have been very interesting,
helpful, informative, and revealing -- especially your comments! However,
the replies are starting to slow down and taper off. With a current
subscriber listing approaching the 2300 mark and more than 1900 active
recipients, I am hoping for a 25-30% response -- or somewhere between 500
and 700 replies by Sept. 30.

Instead of boring most of you with another survey posting, I have mounted
the SERIALST SURVEY on UVM's LISTSERV fileserver. If you missed the Sept.
13 posting and aren't inclined to go back to retrieve it from the
archives, you can retrieve it directly from the server.
Just send a three word email message to: LISTSERV@UVMVM.UVM.EDU
The message should read: GET SERIALST SURVEY

It would be very helpful if the survey response reflected as wide and
varied a segment of the total subscribership as is possible. If you
haven't already done so, please take a few moments to fill it out and send
it back to me by Sept. 30. A summary of the responses will be posted to
the list -- hopefully next month.

Your time and interest are very much appreciated.

Thanks again,

        Birdie MacLennan
