New Title: Academia on line

On the cover of the latest issue of "Academia" is the little note in a discrete
banner, lower right: "Look for Academia on the internet...Final Print Issue"
They seem to expect all librarians to consult the issues at the web site. At my
library the paper issue has been circulated to bibliographers for ordering
purposes. Now each bibliographer can consult the online segment of the magazine
which is available via Lynx (text only) or Netscape. We have made a link to the
Baker and Taylor Home Page in our Librarians Corner of our Library's Web Site.
The new title in the October issue, which is available already and we just
received September paper copy, is "Academia on line" and it has only a month
and year -- no volume designation. I wish all publishers on the Web would
follow the Macintosh convention of creating an ABOUT screen with standard
publishing info for us librarians to use.
PS, for "those who are not already connected to the internet they will send a
software disk you can easily install" (heh, heh, heh)
