Subject: Technical Services and the Internet
I'm preparing a paper on how the Internet can be made a part of a
library's Technical Services workflow and I was hoping some people
would share their experiences in this area with me. I would like
to know: what Internet resources are utilized by your Technical
Services departments, what benefits are there compared to the
previous resources used, what are the negative aspects of using
these Internet resources, and would you recommend their use
(provisionally or otherwise) to other libraries? Internet resources
may include anything from documentation to databases available over
the Internet.
Please send your responses directly to me. I will summarize for the
lists.
Thank you in advance.
