Who's Jim Kobak of _Jim Kobak's Kirkus Reviews_?  It was just plain
_Kirkus Reviews_ up until 1985; then the periodical's title had Jim Kobak
in front of it, until 1991 when it reverted back to _Kirkus Reviews_.

I'm assuming someone named Jim Kobak bought and sold off the journal.
Why would he put his name on it like that?  Aside from the confusion for
readers and catalogers, isn't that a bit... egotistical?

Does anyone know the story?
