I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has had any experience with an
"adopt a journal" program - successful or otherwise.  Did you pursue the
idea of donations of expensive journals to alleviate the current pricing
problem or did you solicit new titles of popular interest which might
otherwise not be purchased?  If you have sample solicitation letters,
etc., I'd be grateful if you would be willing to share examples.  Did you
solicit from groups as well as individuals?  Please respond directly to
me.  If there is interest, I'd be more than happy to share the responses.
