Dear People,

We have begun to barcode our bound journal collection and have discussed
how to go about barcoding the latest individual unbound issues.  It was
agreed not to barcode each separate issue but to have one barcode for
the whole year before it is bound.  We need to decide where to place
this barcode.  We have the portable scanner.

I wondered if anyone has such a system and can share some ideas.

1.  Place barcode on shelf?
2. Place barcodes in a Rolodex?
3. On journal holdings list?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
