Subject: CD-ROM World/Multimedia World

Hi all,

I hope this isn't a dumb question -- I apologize if it is!

We recently received a letter from our serials vendor that
CD-ROM World incorporated into Multimedia World and that we
should reorder Multimedia World.

This seems real odd to me. First off, CD-ROM World and Multimedia
World are published by two differeny Publishers (Mecklermedia
and PCWorld, respectively).

Secondly, the OCLC record for Multimedia World says that its
preceding title was PC World. And the OCLC record for CD-ROM
world hasn't been updated to show it has ceased. (Or it hadn't
last week....)

Thirdly, according to our letter from our vendor, CD-ROM world
incorporated into Multimedia World following the 1/95 issue.
But the February issue of M.W. doesn't mention this at all.

Does anybody have a grasp of what's going on? I don't have a
copy of the March issue of M.W.; maybe *it* mentions an
incorporation.

Any and all information (or guesses!) accepted gladly!

Thanks,

Pam Matthews
