Re: Display of Serials & Binding Questions ARGOV@HAR1.HUJI.AC.IL 08 Mar 1995 21:00 UTC

We do not have special shelves for displaying new issues, but all the current
issues are grouped by broad subjects and inside subjects by alphabetical order
in the periodicals reading room.

When the first issue of a new volume (or/and new year) is coming in, we
prepare the issues of the previous volume for binding. These "waiting for
binding" volumes are of course available to the readers.

We are working with 3 different binders and are sending to them volumes about
every 2 months, 150 to 300 volumes each time. We send them according to the
period of time the volumes are "waiting for binding", sending "older" ones
first. We send annuals with priority.

We send indexes and abstracts during the summer vacation.
