More and more supplemental software is coming with our new books
and periodicals. At the Boeing Technical Libraries we are in the
process of developing polices on how best to handle these materials.
Many of our serials are routed throughout the company with the
software attached. Some of our concerns include lost or corrupted
software. Do you make backup copies? How do you handle copyright
issues, virus protection etc? I would be interested in any comments regarding
regarding the handling of supplemental software.
