IFLA CALL FOR PAPERS -- FOCUS ON ELECTRONIC JOURNALS Martin Kesselman 23 Feb 1995 00:23 UTC

The IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations) Standing
Committee on Science and Technology Libraries and the User Education Round
Table have issued a call for presentations for its co-sponsored workshop at
the IFLA Annual Conference in Istanbul, Turkey from August 20 to 26, 1995.
We are looking for presentations that deal with access and use of
electronic journals with some focus towards instructional issues. Please
consider electronic journals in the broadest sense possible to also include
the the distribution of preprints over the Internet and the unpublished
electronic conferencing that takes place via listservs and newsgroups. As
this is a workshop format, presentations can be either informative or
issue-oriented that elicit discussion.

If interested in making a presentation at the workshop, please send an
abstract or detailed outline to: Martin Kesselman, Chair, IFLA User
Education Round Table, Rutgers University Library of Science and Medicine,
P.O. Box 1029, Piscataway, New Jersey 08855; Fax: +908/445-3208; Tel:
+908/445-3850; email: kesselman@zodiac.rutgers.edu. Abstracts and outlines
recieved by March 10, 1995 will be considered first. Thank you in advance
for your quick attention to this deadline.
