I'd like to add a bit of information to what Rebecca posted yesterday
about back issue sources.  The BACKSERV project is multi-faceted.  There
is a listserv application which was described in the previous message.
In addition, the archived messages of this list are WAIS-indexed and
fully searchable in the BACKSERV section of the Readmore Gopher.  To
access this collection, point your gopher client at gopher.readmore.com,
port 70 and select the BACKSERV menu item.

In addition to the searchable archives of the list, we also provide
access to Back Issue Dealers' catalogs.  The prototype catalog is Jerry
Alper; we are currently negotiating with other back issue dealers to add
more catalogs.  These catalogs are both browsable and searchable.  Online
order forms are included, and these can be filled out and sent directly
to the dealer.  Text copies of these order forms are also available for
downloading and/or printing out.

Readmore is also working on a web based interface for the BACKSERV
project.  Some of the BACKSERV information is currently available on our
webserver which can be accessed at: http://www.readmore.com.

Access to the BACKSERV list and the Readmore gopher and web servers is
