         Hi,

         I would like to know if as Serials Librarians you are Chair
         of a Periodicals Review Committee and what is your charge.

         As Head of the Periodicals Department, I'm the Chairperson
         for the Periodicals Review Committee which has been around
         for a long time.  The primary purpose of the PRC has been
         to review current subscriptions for cancellation and to
         recommend new subscriptions.

         I would like to expand the duties of this Committee and I
         want to know if other academic libraries have such a
         Committee.
