Applause, applause.  Wonderful idea!  I've been using email addresses, when
available to question publishers as to patterns, etc. and my response time
and validity has been just excellent.  The Jan issue of American
Demographics has an open invitation in it to email suggestions
(editors@demographics.com.); I sent in a wishlist for visible volume and
issue numbers, ditto ISSN numbers and a nice neat predictable pattern.
