Bill, et al.:
Peter Scott, at the University of Saskatchewan, has compiled a fairly
extensive list of publishers' catalogues available via the Internet
(i.e., WWW). While many of these publisher links are strong on listings
of what they publish and how to order, I didn't notice any that offered
an upfront claim service (or customer service area, for that matter)
as part of the catalog addresses -- though some might offer e-mail access
or contact addresses for direct correspondence (I've only examined a small
portion of the dozens of listings contained there).
Anyway, you can find the listing at:
http://herald.usask.ca/~scottp/publish.html
(There used to be access to publishers catalogues via the U. Saskachewan
gopher, but the gopher link seems to have disappeared ???)
