Clemson University Libraries is in the process of determing how to
do a periodical use study.  Many of you have written about using
portable bar code readers in your projects. How much additional staff
and student time was necessary to do the initial barcoding AND to
collect and download the data?  Were students able to do this or did
staff have to be involved?  Did any of you rent or lease bar code
readers as opposed to buying them?  From whom did you rent and what
was the approximate cost?
