Last summer the CPSO/CCC Task Group on LC-Issued Descriptive
Cataloging Documentation issued a request for comments on RIs for
chapters 1 and 2.  This fall is being spent reviewing the RIs for
those chapters and the comments received.  The next stage will be
to review the RIs for chapter 12.  Please send comments to me by
January 31, 1995 for consideration by the Task Group.  We are
interested in hearing about how clear the RIs are as well as how
the RIs affect workflow, access, and processing time.  The more
specific the comments, the more helpful they are to us.  Thanks
to each of you in advance.  Please feel free to forward this
message to any other appropriate lists or individuals.
