POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Serials Application Specialist.  Position open with library system vendor for a
highly motivated individual to assist in the development, marketing, and
support of an ILS.  Required: MLS and 3 yrs. serials cataloging and/or
acquisitions experience; excellent written and oral communication skills;
ability to meet strict deadlines; ability to learn quickly.  Familiarity with
online systems and standards essential.  Responsibilities include:  participate
in the review, testing and evaluation of the serials control software; make
recommendations for changes to screen design, functionality, and features;
write documentation; develop training and marketing materials; assist in site
installations; review RFPs/RFIs; provide sales support; review and evaluate
other applications software.  Minimum salary: $30,000 plus excellent benefits.
