In 1982 we recataloged our Periodical collection to agree with AACR2 and made
the decision to keep alpha order (not a decision I wanted to make). I had the
staff type careful, tortured SE-LIN labels for the "new" titles. More often we
were using blank Se-LIN tape to cover a Corporate entry on the spine of a bound
volume.  It has been over 10 years and the adjusted titles (all white) are
still firmly attached to the spines. Not pretty perhaps but functional.
