Hi Joe,

The Allyn and Betty Taylor Library at the University of
Western Ontario subscribes to _Journal of organic chemistry_ and its
supplementary material on microfiche. We have catalogued the fiche as
a separate title so it has its own bibliographic record. We store the
fiche in `fiche holders' which are regular page size, i.e. 8 1/2 X 11"
and are punched to fit a 3-ring binder. The fiche holder is slotted
so that it holds 14 fiche per side for a total of 28 fiche. The
binder that holds the fiche is barcoded not the fiche themselves. As
well, the binder is labelled with the call number and the specific
volume information that it contains, i.e. QD241.J62 V.58 1993. The
binder is shelved in the open stackes next to the bound paper volumes.
We purchase these fiche pages from a company in Iowa. The information
on each fiche page is: Ring King model MD13828
                                    stock no. 40728
                                    Muscatine, Iowa 52761

I hope this information is of some help to you. We have not had any
problem to date with fiche disappearing so are quite pleased with the
arrangement.
