Subject: Philsophers index on CD-ROM

I would appreciate hearing from any other subscribers to DIALOG OnDisc's
product, Philosophers Index on CD-ROM, regarding the timely (or otherwise)
receipt of discs.  On three occasions, we have found ourselves without any
access to this database because discs have expired before the updated ones
were received.  The problem does not seem to be related to payment, as
the supplier has been paid by our agent (Ebsco).

This is the only CD-ROM that has consistently been a problem for us.  Have
we just been lucky so far?  It is particularly irritating as we were forced
to take out a sub for the retrospective database going back to 1940, when we
would've preferred to start with 1993, not to mention the fact that we of co
course lose everything if/when we decide to cancel...
