Thank you, Bob, for that bit of news about ALA journal subscriptions.
Sure enough, my most recent American Libraries lists the S&S address
for subscriptions.  I was not aware of any change as we also maintain
a library membership and order the other publications through subscription
agents.

Since fulfillment houses are one of the banes of our existence, it does
seem a bit disconcerting to have our own professional association
add to our difficulties.  It's probably more cost effective, (sigh) but
not customer effective.
