by the Acquisitions Section's Acquisitions Organization and Management
Committee and Co-sponsored by the Serials Section Acquisitions Committee:
OFF TO SEE THE WIZARD:
Demystifying Your Financial Relationships
This program is for you if you are concerned about:
* audits;
* bidding and contracts for library materials;
* EDI;
* interfacing your library's accounting system with your parent
organizations's accounting system; and/or
* any need to improve your department's relationship with fiscal
officers within or outside the library.
Panetlist will use case studies to:
* compare the goals and organizational cultures of fiscal
officers and librarians;
* explore the political realities; and
* identify skills and strategies for achieving sound working
relationships.
